Polish–Russian rental agreement

Russian is a common language for many tenants from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia or Moldova. A bilingual agreement lets them understand every clause before signing, while the Polish version remains binding.

  • A Russian legal translation in the right-hand PDF column
  • Polish terms in parentheses, e.g. окказиональная аренда (najem okazjonalny)
  • For flat rentals, room rentals and occasional leases

FAQ

Questions and answers

Who is the Polish–Russian version for?

For tenants who find Russian easiest to read – often from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia or Moldova. If the tenant is from Ukraine, ask whether they'd prefer the Ukrainian version.

Which version is binding?

Polish. The Russian translation is for reference, and a clause stating this is written in both languages of the agreement.

Can a tenant without a PESEL sign the agreement?

Yes. Instead of PESEL, choose an identity document number in the generator – a passport or residence card.

Will the agreement help at the office when legalising residence?

A rental agreement confirms the address of residence, which offices ask about in residence matters. If the office requires a sworn translation, it must be ordered separately – the generator's translation is not one.
